Mrs. Enola “Nola” Belle Grimstead, 85, of Mountain Home, passed away at Care Manor Nursing Home on Tuesday, August 8, 2006. A “Celebration of Life” memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August l2, 2006 at Mountain Home Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Hughes and Reverend Mace Strobel officiating. Burial will be private.
Nola was born on January 20, l92l at Ben Davis, Missouri to Paul Rae and Georgia Clair (Chaffee) Miller. She married Robert “Bob” Grimstead at St. Clare, Michigan on January 22, l97l and celebrated 35 years of marriage this year. Nola was very active in her church as a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. She also enjoyed painting for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Grimstead of Mountain Home;
sons: James (Lynn) LaMothe and Joe (Debra) LaMothe of Michigan; daughters:
Susan (Ed) McShane of Kentucky, Janice (John) Richards of Virginia, and Pam (Michael) Hubbard of Florida; four grandsons and four granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, June Johnson of Missouri.
