FAYETTEVILLE - Marvan Berry Sexson, 85, of Fayetteville died Feb. 2, 2004, at Washington Regional
Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Jan. 24, 1919, in Baldwin to Franklin Berry and Amanda Ferguson Sexson. He was a retired service manager for Green & Whit Chevrolet. He was a member of Baldwin Christian Church and was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Patrick Sexson; one son, Jimmie Lee Sexson of Fayetteville; two daughters, Carolyn Baggett and Sharon Taylor, both of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial will be in Hester Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Moore's.

Ruby J. Sexson, 85, of Fayetteville died Saturday, July 1, 2006, at Regency Hospital of Northwest Arkansas.

She was born June 12, 1921, in Baldwin, the daughter of Earnest A. and Shady C. Combs Patrick. She was a homemaker and a member of Baldwin Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvan B. Sexson and two brothers, Walter Patrick and James Patrick.

She is survived by one son, Jimmie Lee Sexson and his wife Bobbye of Fayetteville; two daughters, Carolyn Baggett of Fayetteville, Sharon Taylor and her husband Perry of Fayetteville; one brother; Eugene Patrick of Wichita, Kan.; one sister, Faye Calico of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2006, at Moore's Chapel. Burial will be in Hester Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Moore's Chapel.

Officiating is Pastor Ray Baggett.
