William Andrew Drain, 75, died Saturday morning (August 26, 1950) in Siloam Springs. He was a resident of Fayetteville for many years, and had been in a Siloam Springs convalescent home for 15 months.

He was born in Elkins, Ark., March 8, 1875. He was an employee at the old Sligo Mill in Fayetteville for years. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors are a son, C. E. Drain of Fayetteville; one granddaughter and one great-grandson; two sisters, Miss Emma Drain of Fayetteville and Mrs. Laura Wilson of Fullerton, Calif.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. in Nelson's Funeral chapel with the Rev. Noel Dodd and the Rev. Tommy Gibbs officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Salem Cemetery.
