Bennie R. Stokenberry, 21 of Elkins, died Tuesday at his home. Born Feb. 26, 1952 in Fayetteville, the son of Charles and Mary Moore Stokenberry, he was a student at the University and a member of the Elkins Community Church.
Survivors in addition to the parents of the home are one sister, Ruby Louise of the home; the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Nora Moore of Baldwin and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roe Stokenberry of Elkins.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Elkins Community Church with burial in Hester Cemetery under direction of Moore's Chapel.
Memorials may he sent to the Elkins Community Church or the American Cancer Society.
