Irvin "I.W." William Haley, 72, of Colcord, Okla., died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1993, at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Haley was born July 21, 1920, in Chillicothe, Mo., to Earl Welsey and Olive Rose Haley. He married Margaret Grassham Haley on Aug. 21, 1974, in Albuquerque, N.M.

Mr. Haley was a retired truck driver and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Mo. He was an Army veteran.

Survivors include: his wife, Margaret Mary Haley, of Colcord, Okla.; a daughter, Frances Ann Haley of Chillicothe, Mo.; three sons, William Earl Haley of Albuquerque, N.M., Dudley Lloyd of Morairty, N.M., and Steve Lloyd of Belen, N.M.; a brother, Roy Haley of Chillicothe, Mo.; five sisters, Irene Bates of Ottumwa, Iowa, Madylon Pulverente of Omaha, Neb., Melvina Campbell of Boulder, Colo., Eunice Rutledge of Bogard, Mo., and Elizabeth Walker of Albuquerque, N.M.; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Haley was cremated under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to any youth-oriented organization.

A private burial service will be held at the Falling Springs Cemetery near Decatur at a later date, not yet set.
