SPRAKER, W.W. - {from Pea Ridge} On last Thursday morning our town was shocked at learning of the sudden death of our esteemed citizen, Mr. W.W. Spraker. Several weeks ago Mr. Spraker went to Oklahoma and was away on the trip during the dry hot weather. His health was impaired when he returned. He had had some spells of fainting since he went away. On Thursday morning he went to his pond near his home to do some work. In about an hour afterward he was found dead in the pond by Mr. Tim Hall. It is supposed that while at work in the hot sunshine he fainted and fell dead in the edge of the water. Mr. Spraker was a highly respected citizen, a true and faithful member of the Christian church, a strong supporter of education and a true friend to those in need. He leaves a wife and two sons at home and three married daughters, besides a large host of friends to mourn his loss.
