HEAD, Mrs. N.C. - (from Pea Ridge} Mrs. N.C. Head died Saturday morning at 8 o'clock and was buried Sunday afternoon at Buttram's Chapel. She has been sick for quite a while during which time she was tenderly cared for by her children and neighbors. She was a good neighbor and will be greatly missed.

HEAD, Nancy Constance MULLINS – Mrs. M.K. Head, widow of the late M.K. Head, died at Pea Ridge, one mile east of town, Saturday. Burial was made at Buttram’s Chapel, the Revs. Carnahan and Ruble officiating. She had been ill for some time and all of her children have been visiting her for several days. She seemed to improve about two weeks ago and her son, Ed, returned to his home in Washington State. All of the other children were with her at the time of death and burial: Mrs. John Miller of Pea Ridge; Mrs. Sparkman of Springdale; Mrs. Fred Stewart of Harrison; Bud Head of Harrison and Joe Head of Rogers.
