Bentonville — William Ray (Bud) Callis, 65, died at his home in the High Top Community Thursday afternoon. He was born Dec. 18, 1899 in Benton County.
Survivors include the widow, Bess Mae Wilkerson Callis of the home; one son, Bryan of Hiwassee; four daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Pace, Mrs. Imogene Hahn and Mrs. Lavada Walker all of Tulsa and Mrs. Nadine Bolin of Chandler, Ariz.; five sisters, Mrs. Ella Douglas and Mrs. Beulah Swank of Gravette, Mrs. Blanche Havely of Burton, Kan., Mrs. Maggie Hawkins of LaJunta, Colo. and Mrs. Addie Pura of Powell Butte, Ore.; two brothers, Don of Chualar, Calif. and Andy of Gravette and 24 grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Centerton Baptist Church; burial in Buttram's Chapel Cemetery under direction of Burns Funeral Home.
