At the home here, at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday morning, Mrs. L.C. Sanders answered the call of the Grim Reaper, death coming after many months of sickness, at the age of 72 years and eleven days. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church yesterday afternoon by Rev. D.F. Lillard, assisted by Rev. T.E. Martin, followed by interment in the Gentry cemetery under the direction of Carpenter Bros. Catherine Sanders was born in Ellis county, Texas April 25, 1858 and spent the days of her girlhood and young womanhood there. She was married to L.C. Sanders in Ellis county, Texas Nov. 6, 1873. To this union were born six children, two of whom preceded the mother in death. The husband and four children survive her. The children are Mrs. W.E. Reaves of Miles, Texas; Mrs. Otto Mustchlechner of San Marcos, Texas; Mrs. Gillie Selby of Gentry, Ark. and Claude Sanders of Gravette, Ark. Mrs. Sanders had been a resident of Gentry for the past six years and leaves a host of sorrowing friends who join us in extending sympathy to the bereaved ones.
