JAMIESON, Adam - Adam Jamieson was born in Oheltrie, Ayeshire, Scotland April 11, 1837 and died May 12, 1913. He came to America in 1849 and was married to Helen Martin in 1869. They had one child, Jessie, who lives in Savannah, Ills. His wife died Feb. 1, 1872. In 1875 he was married to N.G. Furrow. To this union two children were born, Addie and Johnnie. Johnnie died when he was eight years old. Addie lives in Des Moines, Iowa. The wife and one grandchild are the only relatives here to mourn his death. The deceased had suffered with heart trouble for a long time and died very suddenly. He was well known here and will be sadly missed. The body was laid to rest in the Gentry cemetery and a host of friends mourned his death. Eva Lathrop.
