Dorothy Lee Lambert Gresham of Calico Rock, daughter of Ervin Lee and Mable Idella Johnson, was born August 15, 1931 in Blytheville. She died January 21m 2001, in Calico Rock. She was 68.
Mrs. Gresham was united in marriage to Robert Wesley Gresham May 8, 1960 in Blytheville. During her working years, she was a Certified Nursing Assisant at a Blytheville hospital. She was a member of the Bible Study Ministry in Calico Rock.
Survivors include her husband Robert Gresham of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Rhonda Morgan of Blytheville; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and James Talbert of Marshall, Indiana; four sisters, Effie Sanders, Mary Lambert, and Lindell Lambert, all of Blytheville; and Martha Decanter of Orange County, California; one brother, John Lambert of Russellville; six grandchildren, Dylan Blake Morgan, Brody Kyle Morgan, Kathalena Maria Gresham, Jennifer Anna Talbert, Mary Beth Talbert and Jessica Lynn Talbert; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Teddy Gresham and her parents.
Funeral services were held January 24, 2001 at the Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Donnie Speak officiating. Pallbearers were Elliot Goldman, Gary Potter, Gilbert Molina, David Young, James Talbert and Leif Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Cantrell and Brandon Speirs.
Interment was at Roselawn Cametery under the direction of Eddie's Funeral Home of Calico Rock.
[Note: The first name is spelled Dorthy (with only one "O")on the gravestone, however her name was spelled Dorothy in her obituary and in the Social Security Death Index.]
