CALICO ROCK — Goldie Mae Muss Cantrell, 75, of Calico Rock died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, in Calico Rock.
Born July 10, 1935, in Calico Rock, she was the daughter of Ausbie and Goldie Hively Muss. She was united in marriage to Rayvon Cantrell on Sept. 15, 1954. She was a homemaker and managed the Leatherwood and Country Inn Restaurants. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Calico Rock First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years; a son, David Cantrell of Calico Rock; a daughter, Joni Hamby of Calico Rock; a sister, Ann Kay Blankenship of Calico Rock; five grandchildren, Travis Hamby of Jonesboro, Katie Hamby and Shelby Cantrell, both of Calico Rock, Olivia Bennett-Bear of Dallas and Travis Bennett of Conway; and a great-grandchild, Ian Bennett-Bear of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandparents.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Calico Rock First Baptist Church with Kevin Bishop officiating. Arrangements are by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
Pallbearers will be David Cantrell, Kenny Hamby, Shelby Cantrell and Travis Hamby.
Honorary pallbearers are Travis Bennett, Terry Blankenship, Gary Blankenship and Scott Blankenship.
