Funeral services for Morgan Sharp, who died last Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Sharp at Lowell, were held Tuesday at Spring Creek and were conducted by the Rev. Floyd Tillman and the Rev. William R. Belew. Morgan was stricken last November with an illness from which he never recovered. He was a freshman in Rogers high school and won the respect and esteem of his teachers and classmates, as was evidenced by their expression of sympathy and regret and by the representatives from the school who were at the funeral services. The class sent a beautiful floral offering. He professed a hope in Christ in 1925 and united with the Missionary Baptist church at Zion west of Lowell the same year. He was an exemplary young man and lived a Christian life in every respect, loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents and a brother, Frank; by his grandfather, A.J. Sharp of Lowell; his grandmother, Mrs. R.E. Weaver of Rogers; and numerous other relatives in this county and elsewhere.
