The Springdale News February 6,1903

Sister Vienna Elizabeth Stevenson, wife of Brother J.A. Stevenson, was born in Wayne County, Kentucky in 1841. Her maiden name was Phillips. She was married to J.A. Stevenson in 1863. She professed faith in Christ and joined the Missionary Baptist Church in 1866 and lived an earnest energetic Christian until she departed from this life, falling asleep in Jesus on the tenth of January 1903. She was a noble character possessing these excellent traits which always indicate true culture and refinement. Brother and Sister Stevenson moved to Springdale soon after they came here and have since been active members. The Lord has called her home and we miss her very much...
