The Springdale News Springdale, AR November 25, 1892
FARLEY, Roy – Died: The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Farley on last Monday. Rev. Farley has charge of the M.E. Church at this place and they have the sympathy of the people of Springdale in their time of trial.
The Springdale News Springdale, AR December 16, 1892
Little Roy, infant son of Rev. W.F. Farley and sister Elizabeth Farley, was born October 30th and died November 21st. 1892, the cause of his death being spinal trouble, the dear little one suffering intense pain, no doubt, all his earthy life. We are sure that Brother and Sister Farley has the heart felt sympathy of their many friends in their distress but thanks be to God we sorrow not as those who have no hope and are without God in the world. The funeral services were conducted by the writer, Rev. A. Marston offering the opening prayer followed by a short discourse by the writer. Rev. James S. Chase.
