SPRINGDALE— Lisa Ann Shaffer Perryman, 40, resident of Springdale, died March 9, 2002, at Northwest Medical Center. Born Feb. 25, 1962, at Little Rock, she was the daughter of Paul D. and Caroline Schneider Shaffer.

She was a member of the New Hope Fellowship, a graduate of Springdale High School, and she received her music degree from John Brown University. She was a very gifted musician and pianist. Throughout the years, Lisa blessed all who knew her by faithfully sharing her talents as a church accompanist. Her love for children was evident by the many children's choirs she directed through the years. Catering was a favorite hobby of Lisa's. Her love of cooking, along with her creativity, made her home a place people loved to visit.

What Lisa considered her greatest accomplishment was motherhood. She felt that God had blessed her by giving her four wonderful children, to whom she was extremely devoted. That devotion was also evident in her friendships. Her friends considered her loyal, compassionate, faithful, loving, creative and funny. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her here on earth. Lisa is now rejoicing with her heavenly Father and free of sickness and sadness.

Survivors include her four children: Mallory, 15, Marshall, 13, Spencer, 11 and Stuart, 11, all of Bentonville; her parents of Claremore, Okla., two brothers, David Shaffer of Tulsa, Okla., and Scott Shaffer of Seattle, Wash.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Cliff Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tim Reed, Mike Crowder, Danny Stevens, Jeff Whillock, Marshall Perryman and Stuart Bell.

Memorials may be made to The Samaritan House, 1549 Hudson Road, Rogers, 72756.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 11, 2002, at the funeral chapel.
