Veronica Marie Schwartz, 96, of Prairie View died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, in Paris. She was a homemaker. Preceded in death by parents, George and Katie (Jansen) Anhalt Jr.; husband, John Schwartz; daughter, Virginia Joan Schwartz; and brothers, Herman and George Anhalt. She was a member of St. Meinrad Catholic Church in Prairie View and attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Paris, a member of St. Ann’s Mother’s Society and Prairie View Extension Homemaker’s Club. Rosary will be 7 p.m. today at Roller Chapel in Paris. Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at St. Meinrad Catholic Church in Prairie View with burial at St. Meinrad Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda Kleck of Paris, Ruth and Harold Baumgartner of Paris, and Elaine and Bernard Geels of Fort Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Harold “Buddy” and Dorothy Schwartz of Paris; sisters and sister-in-law, Henrietta Fox of Fort Smith, Stella Seifert of Paris, Marie Anhalt of Houston and Thedda Anhalt of Little Rock; grandchildren, Sandy Marshall, William Baumgartner, Anita Forst, Debbie Lowe, Kim Lewis, Theresa Harvell, Nancy Kleck, Harold Schwartz Jr. and Judy Donald; and 11 great-grandchildren.
