Marvin Lee Strange, 44, of Rogers, died Thursday, Oct. 20, at Rogers.
He was born March 3, 1944, in Tennessee to Clifford Strange and Sarah Strange. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers and president of Midland Development Inc. of Rogers. A 1968 graduate of Bentonville High School, he graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in business adminstration. He was active in youth work.
He is survived by a son, Chad Strange, of the home.
A double funeral service for Mr. Strange and his wife is set for Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Rogers with the Rev. Ben Rowell and the Rev. Jim Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to Rogers High School Library and Athletic Fund.

Linda Sue Strange, 42, of Rogers, died Thursday, Oct. 20, in Rogers. She was born August 23 at Fayetteville to Hal Neil and Avo Kelley Neil. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers and assisted her husband in the operation of Midland Development Inc., as secretary of the corporation.
She is survived by a son, Chad Strange; her father, Hal Neil of Lowell; her mother, Avo Neil of Springdale, and two brothers, Bill Neil of Springdale and Dale Neil of Lowell.
Funeral for Mrs. Strange and her husband is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ben Rowell and the Rev. Jim Wallace officiating. Burial is to be in Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Rogers High School Library and Athletic Fund.
CC NOTE: Marvin and Linda were killed when their small plane crashed near Lake Atalanta in Rogers.
I attended their funeral service.
