Mrs. Cora Carroll was born May 26, 1882 in Oberland, Kansas to Dennis Holmes and Louise Perkins Holmes and passed away November 25, 1960 in Marion County Hospital. Her home was in Flippin. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joe Rorie of Flippin, two sons, Rolla Carroll of Independence MO., and Nolan Carroll of Kansas City, Kansas, one sister Laura White of Legrange, Orgon; two brothers, Elmer Holmes, Houston, Texas and Loren Holmes Portland, Oregon and 13 grand children. Funeral services were held Nov. 274 at 2 p.m. in the Flippin Baptist Church with Rev. Howard King in charge. Burial under the direction of Yellville Funeral Home.
