Robert "Dutch" Fox Jr, 81, of Van Buren, Ark., died Friday, September 8, 2006, in a local hospital. He was a retired road construction supervisor in Colorado, a member of St Michael's Catholic Church, a former resident of Dolores, Colorado, and was a native of Logan County, Arkansas. He was a US Army veteran and a resident of Van Buren since 1985. He and Mrs Fox were married 49 years in August. Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, September 12, at St Michael's Church in Van Buren, with burial at St Meinrad Cemetery in the Prairie View Community east of Paris under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Rosary was held Monday, September 11, at Ocker Memorial Chapel with visitation preceding the Rosary.
Surviving are his wife, Lottie;daughters, Karen Lee Price and Deborah Collins, both of Orange, Texas; son, Robert L Fox III of Orange, Texas; sisters, Mary Lee Kleck of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Gean Nielson of Dolores, Holly Schluterman of Fort Smith, and Florence McEwen of Cortez; a brother, Charles Fox of Cortez; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mark Schluterman, Rodney Schluterman, Kenny Schluterman, Clayton Harrison, Donny Harrison, Travis Williams and John R Collins.
