When Lake Winona was built in 1936, graves had to be moved and Walnut Bottom Cemetery was established. Most of those moved from the first cemetery are marked with flat cement blocks with their names written on them.
The cemetery is located near Lake Winona State Park on Reform Road and is still an active cemetery.
