Mrs. Betty Jane Lonon. Age 90 of Mountain Home passed away Friday March 17, 2017 in Mountain Home. She was born July 28, 1926 in Wilton, Iowa to John Raymond Osmers and Edna Lindquist Osmers. She retired as assistant vice-president of Peoples Bank in Mountain Home after 35 years. She attended the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, birdwatching, bingo and especially time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by a son, David Lonon of Mountain Home; a daughter, Deb (Dave) Leedham of Mountain Home; 3 grandchildren: Jessica (Paul) Worman, Molly Lonon and Forest Leedham; 4 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Lou Kanakares of Davenport, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend Kathy Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 40 years Claude Lonon, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
