Graveside services for James Arthur Boecher, 70, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Douglas Cemetery, with the Ozark VFW Post 3246 providing military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. James died Friday, August 6, 2010 at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

James was born April 2, 1940 in Port Byron, IL, the son of Arthur Henry and Agnes May Besline Boecher. He married Margaret Ann Gamache on March 22, 1980 at Georgetown, TX. and worked as a Director of Public Works for City of Belton, Texas. James Boecher was a U.S. Army veteran serving two tours in Vietnam. James lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 2002 moving from Florence, Texas.

James is survived by his wife Margaret Boecher of Mountain Home three daughters: Anita Crews of Austin, TX; Laura Ann Henthorn of Dayton, OH and Adrienne Lee Coker of Bertram, TX; 5 grandchildren: Cady Ann Vance, Zachary E. Henthorn, Timothy D. Crews, Jeremy E. Crews, and Jared Dean Gunn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Margie Gramenz and one niece, Dawn McComb.

Burial will be in the Douglas Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
