Mrs. Annie Mae Adamson, age 83, of Colt, died Saturday, March 23, 2002, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis.Mrs. Adamson, born Jan. 24, 1919, in Forrest City, was the daughter of Henry Coleman and Julie Aaron Coleman. She made her home in the Forrest City area for all of her life and was retired from Reltoc Sewing Plant. She was a Baptist by faith.In 1934 Mrs. Adamson married Marion F. Johnson and he preceded her in death in 1971. She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Ann Dennis of Colt and Bettye Yarbro of Pangburn; a sister, Mabel Johnson of Camden; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.Visitation services for Mrs. Adamson will be held, Monday, March 25, 2002, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Adamson will be held, Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home with Rev.J.E. Hughes and Rev. Bud Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
