James Elmo Leonard of Moro, Arkansas passed away March 29, 2007 in Forrest City. He was 85 years of age.
James was born to Jim and Mary Ann Jones Leonard in Shirley, Arkansas on August 31, 1921. He married Wanda Mae Thomas and spent his life as a farmer in the Moro area.
Those left to mourn his passing include his wife of the home in Moro; daughters Linda Mathews of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and Beatrice Riales of Millington, Tennessee; brothers Jesse Leonard of Cabot, Arkansas; Bill Leonard of Phoenix, Arizona; Harvey Leonard of Caulfield, Missouri; and Glen Leonard of Aubrey, Arkansas; sisters Vella Pruitt and Gracie Eddleman of Aubrey, Arkansas; and Ann English of Damascus, Arkansas; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Services will be held Saturday, March 31 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas, with burial following at Marianna Memorial Park. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, also at Roller-Citizens Marianna.
Wanda Mae Leonard , 85 , of Moro, Arkansas passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Memphis, Tennessee.
She was born Sunday, March 16, 1930 to Buster Thomas and Vera Tumbleson Thomas in Johnson County, Arkansas.
She is survived by two daughters; Beatrice Riales (Wayne “Sonny”), Linda Diane Mathews (Alton “Ronnie”), five grandchildren; James Hendrix, Jason Hendrix, Chris Hendrix, Carrie Parr, Angela Riales, five great-grandchildren; Miracle Hendrix, Mariah Hendrix, McKenzie Hendrix, Billy Parr, Peyton Emerson; great-great-grandson; Kooper Frey and one sister; Joy Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; James Leonard and one brother; Glen Thomas.
Services for Mrs. Leonard will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. also at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
Burial will be held at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas.
