March 6, 1924 - February 7, 2008
Delton Craig of Marianna passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008, at the age of 83.
He was born on March 6, 1924 to John Kelly Craig and Martha Kelley in Elaine, Arkansas.
Delton married Pauline Hendrix and together they raised four children.
He made a living for his family by running Craig's Exxon Station in Marianna for many years.
Survivors include wife Pauline, of the home in Marianna; sons James Craig and wife Beverly; and Roger Craig and wife Brenda, of Memphis; Gene Craig and wife Brenda of Bald Knob, AR; daughter Diane Moneymaker and husband Mark of Marianna; brothers Jody Craig of Stuttgart, AR; and Tommy Craig and wife Duane of Texas; eighteen grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Delton was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Craig, and by his brothers, Edward Earl and Jimmy Dale Craig.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, at Roller-Citizens Chapel in Marianna, with burial to follow at Marianna Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens.
