Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Jesse R. Manus, who died Tuesday, June 24, 1952 at the Veterans hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Services were held at the Assembly of God church at Alma at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon with the pastor, Rev. S.A. Fox, and Rev. Charles Graham officiating. Personnel from Camp Chaffee directed the military burial at Newberry Chapel cemetery. Ocker funeral home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
Mr. Manus was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Free Will Baptist church.
