RADER, Mrs. I.D. - The community was painfully surprised yesterday morning to learn of the death of Mrs. I.D. Rader, which occurred Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock at the family home in the west part of town. Mrs. Rader had been ill only about a week, her death being due to pneumonia and heart trouble. Funeral services will be held today at 10 a.m. at the Lutheran church and the interment will be in the Lutheran cemetery west of town. The deceased was about sixty years of age and came with her husband to Washington County in the year 1870 from Green County, Tennessee. They located in the vicinity of Sons Chapel, northeast of Fayetteville where they resided for 9 years and then moved to Springdale which has since been their home. Besides a husband Mrs. Rader is survived by 7 children, 4 sons and 3 daughters, all of whom are married except one son and one daughter. Mrs. Rader was a devoted member of the Lutheran church, having been baptised in infancy and confirmed in early youth. She was a good woman, devoted to her home and the family and was loved and respected by all who knew her. The sympathy of the community goes out to the family in their sad bereavement.
