Services for Henry Ederson Ford, 76, of Malakoff are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malakoff with Robert Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Malakoff Cemetery under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malakoff. Mr. Ford died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, in Athens. He was born Oct. 17, 1927, in Bradley County, Ark., to George and Violet Richards Ford. Mr. Ford served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 until 1947 and he also served in the U.S. Army from 1948 until 1951. He later retired from Coca Cola Bottling Company in 1992 after working for over 25 years as a mechanic. He was also a member of Miller Road Baptist Church in Garland. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Ford of Malakoff; daugther, Judy Callicoatt and her husband, George, from Garland; stepdaugther, Deanna Dodson of Durant, Okla.; brother, Frank Ford and his wife, Rosa of Winnsboro; sisters, Jean Smith of Warren, Ark., and Paulette Weiner of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and three grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
