PARRISH, Mrs. S.E. {Harper, Redman} - Mrs. S.E. Parrish was born in Jefferson county, Indiana Jan. 8, 1856 and died Jan. 20, 1925. At the age of 17 she joined the Congregational church. She was married to Jas. M. Harper Sept. 24, 1874 and joined the M.E. church to be with her husband in church affiliation. To this union were born three children, one daughter, who died in infancy, and two sons, A.C. Harper, who resides at Stilwell, Okla. and James A. Harper, who lives at Tulsa, Okla. After Jas. M. Harper died she married Jas. M. Redman. To this union was born a daughter who died Oct. 5, 1908. She was married to C.H. Parrish Nov. 3, 1917. Her husband and two sons were present at the funeral services. Her life was a benediction to all who knew her. Funeral services were conducted by the pastor, F.G. Villines, and S.F. Brown.
