William H. Nonamaker, son of William and Rachel Nonamaker, was born December 8th, 1834. He was a native of New Jersey. He was married to Isabella Wolbert April 1st, 1876, who died many years ago. On December 18th he married Margaret Stout. For a short time thay lived in Texas, later mving to Kansas, then to Arkansas, living at different times in Southwest City, Mo. Springdale, Rogers, Decatur, Siloam Springs and Gentry. He spent three years in the Army of the Potomac, taking part in Gettysburg and other battles. Died at his home in Gentry, Arkansas November 2nd, 1913. He was buried Monday afternoon. Harker Post, G.A. R. was in charge of the funeral, assisted by members of Curtis Post No. 9, Siloam Springs, of which the deceased was a member. The deceased had lived in Gentry about nine years and was one of the oldest of our citizens. The funeral service was held at the Baptist church, Pastor E.B. Brown preaching the sermon.
