"Margaret Anna Broon was born December 12, 1851 at Albany, N. Y. & at the age of 13 went with her parents to Dodge county, Minn. She united with the Presyterian church at Kasson, Minn. at about 18 or 20 years. In 1871 she was married to J. R. Wyatt, who died February 22, 1899.

On March 4, 1900, she became the wife of J. C. Hemingway, at Spencer, Iowa. They made their home in Ellendale, Minn., until July, 1903, when they came to Genrty, Ark., where their home has since been. Mrs. Hemingway united with the Congregational church at this place soon after her arrival here & was a faithful & consistent member til the day of her death, which occurred November 26, 1913.

Mrs. Hemingway is survived by her husband, a brother and 2 sisters, one of whom, Mrs. F. J. Drake, was with her & cared for her through her illness.

The funeral services were held Friday morning, November 28, at the Congregational church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Turner. The W. R. C. & Rebekah lodge attended in a body, & at the close of the sermon the order of Rebekahs, of which the deceased was a member, took charge of the service. The floral offerings were very beautiful. Burial was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Gentry."
