ALLSMAN, Harry - Funeral services for Harry Allsman, who died last Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Helen Spriggs, at Oklahoma City, were held at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon with Rev. A.T. Mays in charge. Mr. Allsman was one of Gravette's early settlers and came here from Cabool, Mo. He operated a blacksmith and repair shop here for some time. His wife preceded him in death several years ago and he moved to Oklahoma City where he has made his home since. Harry Allsman was born in Sullivan, Sullivan county, Ind. May 26th, 1869. He moved to Gravette 32 years ago from Cabool, Mo. where he spent his early days. He was affiliated with the Methodist church. He and children moved to Oklahoma City where he was connected with the Acme Brick and Clay Products Company. He was 57 years old at the time of his death. Besides a host of friends at Gravette and Oklahoma City he leaves five children: Mrs. Geo. Spriggs, Howard and Frank, all of Oklahoma City; Leonard of Hominy, Okla.; Harry, Jr. of McCannay, Texas. Four brothers, Frank, Oklahoma City; Luther of Dallas, Texas; Dan, San Francisco, Calif. and Rush of St. Louis, Mo. Two sisters, Mrs. R.E. Hanley, Tinsman, Ark. and Mrs. Annie Edis, Cabool, Mo.
