Sammy Johnson Passes Away

Sammie Everett Johnson was born in Rich Hill, Missouri, October 16, 1901 and passed away at the Izard County Memorial Hospital, Melbourne January 15, 1956 at the age of 54.

He was a member of Missionary Baptist Church at Cross Roads, Arkansas.

He is survived by one son, Erman of Magnolia, Ark., two daughters; Montene Erambert, Olney, Ill., and Sammy Jewell Cox of Calico Rock; one brother, Elvin of Solomon, Kansas; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Fist Baptist Church, January 17, 1956 with the Rev. Charles Duncan officiating.
