Ray Hamon Dies Unexpectedly Of Heart Attack Yesterday
Funeral services will be held this afternoon for Ray Hamon who died early yesterday morning following a heart attack.
Rev. Otha Strayhorn and Rev. Charles Duncan will conduct services from the Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. and burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Hamon was born May 26, 1901 at Sedan, Kansas and was 56 years, 6 months and 14 days of age.
He was married to Audra Ezma Jennings on July 18, 1926 and to this union two children were born. One child Louella Ezell preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Ezma Rhea Speak of Calico Rock; two brothers, Hue of Ponca City, Okla.; and Nathan of Winfield, Kan.; one half-sister and two grandchildren, Cindy and Cherie Speak of Calico Rock.
