WARREN -- Billy Ray Cantrell, 74, of Warren, died Wednesday at Fort Roots Veterans Hospital at North Little Rock. He was born May 20, 1929, at Dierks (Howard County), a son of the late William Ernest Cantrell and Stella Bolland Cantrell. He received his education in Warren schools and was a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was retired from the Army, having serving in both the Korean War and Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife; three sons; four daughters; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Frazer's Funeral Home at Warren. Burial with military honors will be in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls (Bradley County).
