"W.A. Baker, 65, Warren, died Monday afternoon at 4 at the Hunt Hospital, where he had been a patient for some time. A son of Edward and Nancy Lou Dawkins Baker, he was born February 4, 1883 in Mississippi. He operated a farm near Warren and was a member of the Baptist church. His wife, Dovie Nina Milholland Baker survives. Others to survive Mr. Baker are: Three daughters, Mrs. Carrie Huitt, Warren, Mrs. Annie Lee Langston, Camden, and Miss Lorena Baker; three sons, Otis Baker, Warren, Joe Willie Baker, Willow Springs, Missouri; Quince Baker, Camden; two brothers, Waltar Baker of Louisville, Mississippi, and Mike Baker, Ingalls, Services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 at Union Hill cemetery by the Reverend Mr. McGuire. Pall bearers were Rufus Green, T.N. Bolland, Clifton Huitt, Alonzo Vickers, Hollis Huitt, and Wilson Huitt. Those caring for flowers were Mrs. James Ed Moseley, Miss Betty Lain, Mrs. T.Z. Dees, and Mrs. Perry Hughes." Children:
Alpha Otis Baker (1908 - 1971)
Carrie I. Baker Huitt (1911 - 2003)
Annie Lee Baker Langston (1914 - 1997)
Infant Daughter Baker (1925 - 1925)
Marie Baker (1926 - 1932)
