Eagle Democrat, Warren, AR, March 1, 1989,
"Grady Baker, Longtime Mayor, Succumbs at 78 -- Grady Otis Baker, age 78, of Pine Lodge Home, Warren, formerly of Hermitage, died Tuesday, February 21 at Pine Lodge. He was born October 17, 1910, at Sumpter, a son of the late William Henry Baker and Odie Seymore Baker. Mr. Baker was a retired businessman and a member of the Hermitage Baptist Church. For 18 years Mr. Baker served as Mayor of the City of Hermitage and prior to being mayor he served as Alderman for 16 years. Surviving are his wife, Evora York Baker; one son from Pine Bluff; one brother, Arthur Baker, Hermitage; two sisters, Glynace Stuard and Beatrice Savage, both of Warren; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren."
