Jeffery Services Held Oct. 18
Stanley A. Jeffery was born December 21, 1899 at Mt. Olive where he lived until 1938, when he moved to Calico Rock with his family. On December 2, 1923 he was united in marriage to Pearl Moody.
At the age of 15 he joined the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Mt. Olive, later transferring his membership to Calico Rock.
He is survived by his wife Pearl: his father, William Mason Jeffery of Calico Rock; four daughters, Mrs. Alta Watson of Everson, Wash.; Mrs. Lorene Miller of Calico Rock; Joyce Jeffery of Tulsa, Okla., and Lanell Jeffery of the home; one sister, Mrs. Callie Caldwell of Tulsa, Okla.; four brothers, Ray of Omaha, Neb.; Frank of Booneville, Ark.; Rex of Calico Rock and Lee of Mountain View; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church October 18 by Rev. Franklin Chesnut and Rev. Charles Duncan. Burial was in the Roselawn Cemetery with graveside services conducted by the Masonic Lodge.
Those from out-of-town attending the services included Ray Jeffery of Omaha, Neb.; Frank Jeffery of Booneville, Joyce Jeffery of Tulsa, Von Dean Jeffery of McKenzie, Tenn., and Mile Jeffery of Batesville and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jeffery of Mountain View.
