April 6, 1961 - July 13, 1986
"Bobby Leon Baker, Jr., age 23, of Hermitage, died Sunday, July 13, 1986, at Moores Mill. He was a son of Bobby Leon Baker, Sr., of Hoxie and Joann Callahan Baker of Hermitage, and was born in Houston, Texas, April 6, 1961. Bobby was a truck driver and a Baptist. Other survivors include his wife, Diane Wilcox Baker of Hermitage; a daughter, Crystalyn Machelle Baker of Hermitage; a brother, Billy L. Baker of Hermitage; two sisters, Bea Colvin of Hermitage, Becky Baker of Hermitage, and his grandmother, Mrs. Alice Baker of Hoxie. The funeral service was held Tuesday, July 15 at Union Hill Baptist Church in Ingalls with Rev. Bobby Meggs officating. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Tom Baker, Mike Baker, Gene Baker, Randy Clanton, Charles Edward Ferrell, Bill Baker, Blake Harrod, and David Mason. Honorary pallbearers were Mitch Wardlaw, Carl Johnson, Martin Wardlaw, Lavon Boyette, Tommy Baker, and Hollis Clanton."
