Tommie Ned, Emma Sue, Mathis, and AF English are the children of Wilbur and Mary Ann Mathis English who moved from Monroe County to Hazen, AR. These same names are recorded in family Bible (Source: Jo Claire English survey notes of cemetery from 1975)
According to 1880 census, Mathis lived with 4 other children in the home of Wilbur and Mary English, who were not their parents. Wilbur was a white male, farmer, born 1840 in MS, and resided in Roe Township. https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MNWK-TDK
