He was born to the late Fred and Jenny Lewis Burroughs Louis was a school teacher in the Harmony Grove School near Camden for eight years and the Benton School District for 27 years, a WWII Navy Verteran and member of the First Baptist Church of Benton. Survivors include his son, Curt Burroughs and wife, Fonda of Benton and their children, Chase, Matt and Luke, son, Keith Burroughs and his wife, Jennifer of Benton, and their children, Holly, Justice and Patterson, of Benton, brother, Harold Burroughs of Hot Springs, sisters, Erma and husband, Floyd Looper of Bismarck, Mildred and husband, Clyde Moore of Arlington, Texas.
