Walter James Bullard, 77, of Bella Vista, died Jan. 10, 1991, at St. John's Medical Center in Joplin, Mo. Mr. Bullard was born Oct. 15, 1913, in Independence, Mo., to William J. Bullard and Melissa Luff Bullard.
He moved to Bella Vista in 1976, from Independence, Mo. Bullard retired from Armco Inc., after 42 years.
He was a Mason, a member of the Elks Lodge, the Men's 18-Hole Golf Association, the Men's 9-Hole Golf Association, Bates Development Associates, Crime Watch and Fly Tyers.
Bullard was preceded in death by a son, William Henry Bullard.
Survivors include his wife, Melinda A. Eyssell Bullard, of Bella Vista; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Private memorial services will be at a later date at Benton County Memorial Park. Cremation and arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Bentonville.
