FLOYD EUGENE COLLINS, a resident of Berryville, AR, was born July 14, 1933 in Novice, TX, a son of Vernon B. and Ora Irene (Sluder) Collins. He departed this life Saturday, June 13, 2009 in Harrison, at the age of 75. Floyd served in the United States Army and was of the Southern Baptist Faith. On December 26, 1952, Floyd was united in marriage with Alice Lee Hunter who survives him of the home. He is also survived by two sons, Cecil Collins and wife Annette of Pueblo, CO and Vernon Collins and wife Nancy of Berryville, AR; two daughters, Rebecca Collins Fancher and Cynthia Ann Collins Usrey, both of Kingston, AR; three sisters, Viola Mae Howard, Barbara Ann and husband Bill Wiggins and Wanda Jean Shelton all of Gatesville, TX; two brothers, Richard Collins of Belton, TX and Robert Collins and wife Kathy of Arlington, TX; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James Vernon Collins and Johnnie Collins; one sister, Patsy Ruth Collins; and one great-great-granddaughter, Emilee Kolb. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 P.M. on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Nelson's Green Forest Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Nelson's Green Forest Chapel with Brother Gerry Bryant and Brother Lannie Younger officiating. Interment will follow in the Gobbler Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc.
