Mary Katherine Muncy Stapleton daughter of the late Henry Russell Muncy Sr. and Mamie Etta Whiteaker Muncy, was born July 16, 1942 in Melbourne, Arkansas. She departed this life on September 12, 2010. She was united in marriage to Carl Franklin Stapleton.
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Jeffery; two sons, Kenny Stapleton and Bobby Stapleton; two sisters, Hazel Conyers and Nancy Stapleton; one brother Jim Muncy; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service was Tuesday, September 14 at the Calico Rock Funeral Chapel. Burial is at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Eddies Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
