Mrs. Cora Maude King, 87, of El Dorado, died in Hudson Memorial nursing home Wednesday. Born Feb. 15, 1880 in Queens City, Tex., she was the daughter of Nathan Dodd and Susie Glover Meyers. She was the widow of the late W. T. King and a member of the Westside Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Spencer of Little Rock; three sons, Fred M. Johnson and Rodney M. Johnson, both of Huttig and Earl W. Johnson of Mountain Home; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Pratt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Fordyce under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Robert W. Johnson, George James, Jr., Fred James, Kent Smurl, Rodney M. Johnson, Jr., and Stephan M. Johnson. (El Dorado Times - January 25, 1968)
