WILKINSON, Jonathan - (from Prairie Grove) Jonathan Wilkinson died last Wednesday night. His remains were laid to rest in the Prairie Grove cemetery. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ragland of Fayetteville.

Friday, May 20, 1904
(from The Prairie Grove Herald) Mr. Jonathan Wilkinson, who for several months past has been confined to his home by a complication of diseases, died last night at 9:15 o'clock. Mr. Wilkinson was in his 74th year, having been born Dec. 30, 1830 in Cincinnati, Ohio. When 15 years of age he removed with his parents to the state of Indiana and from there he came to Arkansas in November 1870 and continued to live here until his death. The funeral services were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock and the body buried in Prairie Grove cemetery, Rev. Ragland of Fayetteville conducting the services, which were attended by a large number of sorrowing friends.
