Paris~~John R Bowerman, 73, of Paris died Thursday, March 16, 2006, in Danville. He was born April 18, 1932, in Logan County. He was a firefighter for the Roswell Fire Department, a member of Good Ole Boys in Paris, the Paris VFW and American Legion, an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and attended Paris First Baptist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Taylor of Farmington, N.M..; a son, Richard Bowerman of Illinois; three sisters, Betty Boles of Paris, Laura White of Sugarland, Texas, and Hilda Boyer of Fort Smith; a brother, Bennett Bowerman of Booneville; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bobby Goldsworthy, Lee Myers, Mitchell Ford, Bob White, Tim Hice and George Shuck.
