Henry Whitson Jr, 75, of Paris died Tuesday, June 5, 2007. He was a coal miner, worked for OTASCO and Cloyes Gear Plant before retirement and was of the Assembly of God faith. His favorite things were his home, family, children, and he loved to hunt and fish. Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry and Anne Ruth (Roberts) Whitson Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Lois (Krigbaum) Whitson of Paris; daughters, Debbie Wimberly, Barbara Moore, June Keathley, Regina Ahrns, all of Paris, Gwen Jones and Henrietta Johnston of Scranton; sons, Homer Whitson, Bill Whitson and Danny Whitson, all of Paris; brother, Bob Whitson of Paris; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Brian Whitson, Todd Whitson, Scott Moore, Chris Moore, Justin Keathley, Johnny Keathley, Andy Jones, Jason Ahrns. Honorary pallbearers: Grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
