Mrs. Nina Mae Wilbanks Brown, age 94, of Benton died Saturday September 19, 2009, at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant. She was born February 19, 1915, in Haskell. Nina was retired from Timex Corp. in Little Rock and a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John R. Brown, a son, Jacob Miller Brown, and her sister, Lyda E. Wilbanks.

Survivors include three sons, Ralph D. Brown and wife Donna, Randall J. Brown and wife Pauline, Harlon G. Spradlin, all of Benton; daughter-in-law, Vivian Brown, of California; ten grandchildren, Rebecca Bailey, Ralph A. Brown, Debbie Staggs, Douglas Brown, Nancy Salyer, Rachel Brown, Dennis Brown, Andrea Stailey, Pollyanna Wherry, and Randall J. Brown, twenty eight great-grandchildren and twenty great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at New Rosemont Cemetery by Ashby Funeral Home. Minister will be Bro. Kim Hammer.

Memorials may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice, Bryant, Arkansas; or to The Arkansas School for the Deaf Historical Museum in Little Rock.

Pallbearers: Doug Brown, Dennis Brown, Sam Brown, Bryan Sims, Eric Brown, Matt Bailey and Mark Bailey. (from Ashby Funeral Home online obituary)
